Point blank, ZowneD! ™ www.zowned.com is the MySpace for gamers. It is the holding ground for each and every person who's held a controller or moved a mouse to get their game on and own their best buddy in an intense deathmatch. It is the catch phrase for elite gamerz. "You just got zowned!" will be the next big cliché. It originated from the ultra-cool combination of Zone+Owned and is the ultimate place to hook up with all your gamer friends and allies.

ZowneD! ™ allows a gamer to do just about anything they want. The idea behind it all stems from having a community to share your latest kills/owns, screenshots, videos, music, and more. A gamer can sign up using his/her gamertag, uploads pics to his/her profile, browse the videos or upload their own, stream from YouTube and other sources, just to name a few. They can even customize their page with whatever background they want, whatever colors they desire for each component, and then share their 'zownfile' with allies. Avid gamers can create tournaments and post events, sell their games in the classifieds section or even write up blogs and posts in the forum for the whole community to read and rate. It will be an ongoing project, continually fed by the blood and sweat of the gaming community. It will be whatever they put into it. It will be something to talk about.
Exposure
Zowned! ™ will need as much press as possible to get the snowball built and up the mountain. According to all my friends this is the best idea I've come up with and it's already taking off with no advertising. My idea is to have a mutual and beneficial relationship with companies like Gamestop and Blockbuster to get the ball rolling. I would like to start by placing beautifully crafted 4x5 flyers in every Gamestop in the area. Hopefully this will spread district-wide and possibly even throughout the nation.
A Little About Me
I have all the resources to make this all happen… except one thing: marketing. I own and operate my own servers. They are kept in one of the most secure buildings in America. I have built a strong reputation for 7 years in the web design and hosting industry (all by word of mouth) with my company, Blurstorm www.blurstorm.com, with currently being ranked #1 out of 500+ companies on the nation's largest web hosting review site, Web Hosting Jury www.webhostingjury.com. (that's me at the top). EPIC Proportions
I have letters from Tim Sweeney, still the reigning President of the once Epic MegaGames (Jill of the Jungle), now referred to as EPIC (Gears of War). I have letters from Joe Hitchens (Art Director of the Doom series) which will all be posted soon on ZowneD!. I have created reviews for games on sites where the best ones stay at the top: http://www.allxbox.com/pricesearch/reviews.asp?id=708021. I've visited and almost landed a job at Red Storm Entertainment in Morrisville, NC (Rainbow Six series). Finally, I built an online game called "The Dungeon" and entered it into the Adobe Dream Team competition which placed 2nd in the US. So yeah.. gaming is my passion.
